Clinton Cash

Clinton Foundation

Hillary Clinton told ABC's Diane Sawyer in 2001 that they were 'dead broke' and in debt when she and Bill left the White House.

And she didn't need to say that as that was not the answer to the question she was being asked. The good thing about this was that she wasn't lying about it. For in fact, according to financial disclosure forms, they were in debt from anywhere between $2 million to $10 million in 2001.

Rags to Riches

Now the amazing fact is that since 2001 to right after Hillary stepped down from the State Department as Secretary of State in 2013, Bill Clinton has been paid over $100 million for 500+ speeches he did in the U.S. and around the world.

Hillary has also been making a substantial amount of money of her own (estimated at over 5 million) from her own speeches and her "standard" fee, like Bill's is $200,000 (more like the minimum) per speech.

The total amount she has received is not available, and of course the 100+ million we do know that Bill has made (estimated at over 130 million) is only from those that has been reported.

Today's Rant

Anyway, that is not why I am ranting today. But I will admit though that it is closely related to the ridiculously huge amount of money they have made, where it came from, the non-profit William J. Clinton Foundation which Bill founded in 2001, the gullibility of everyday common people, like you and me and the gall of people in power (Democrats and Republicans alike).

Now I have nothing more to say about this other than for you to read about this for yourself, but in case you do not want to read books like the New York best selling books (Extortion: How Politicians Extract Your Money, Buy Votes, and Line Their Own Pockets and Throw Them All Out: How Politicians and Their Friends Get Rich Off Insider Stock Tips, Land Deals, and Cronyism That Would Send the Rest of Us to Prison) of Peter Schweizer, then you can at least watch a documentary based from them.

Clinton Cash

Clinton Cash is the documentary I am talking about and it is subtitled "The Untold Story of How Foreign Governments and Businesses Made Bill and Hillary Rich". You can fast forward it and start the movie at around the 4:10 mark.
