To A Racist, Everything Is About Race

The last few years, we seem to hear more and more that Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving Episode was racist.

In fact, it got a whole lot attention this year.

Poor Charles Schultz, he must be turning in his grave. Anyway, if you are one of those people who do see that Peanut's Thanksgiving episode as racist. Then I would argue that you see color everywhere and really, all you will see is racism.

And yes, it is every where, but please do not go out everyday looking for it, that is no way to live your life.

Schulz was the first U.S. cartoonist to put an African American character, a boy named Franklin, in a comic strip, and during a tume when doing will not go well with a lo of people.

But inspite of that, Schulz created Franklin' and this was his first appearance --  right after the assasination of Martin Luther King Jr, no less.

And if ever you saw racism, in that Charlie Brown Thanksgiving screen shot, then maybe you need to watch that episode right here.

And also focus on this screen shot, instead of that one photo above that some people are talking about.

Or on this one:

And as in anything, consider what it was like in the 60s and early 70s, before jumping into judgments which would make you look juvenile.

Yes, as Charlie always say "Good grief." (face palm)
