Don't believe me, let's watch this video of Ricky, a British comedian's opening act of what will definitely be his last time to host an industry awards night in Los Angeles.
Initially all the rich and famous celebrities were laughing along with one of their own, until it finally dawned on them, he wasn't American and that they were being roasted in their own grease in their own country and that they were laughing at themselves.
For the rest of us, poor and ordinary humans, let's watch this and have a laugh at their expense.
This will definitely be the last time Ricky Gervais is going to be invited back to any Hollywood event, to say the least.

Ok, remember we're all going to die soon and there are no sequels.
But he did step on a lot of people"s toes and hurt their egos and feelings.
It was funny. But the truth does hurt.
On a lighter note, this might make the poor and ordinary people come back and watch industry awards shows again.
